The esoteric, inward human being existing within the material frame is a living, breathing entity that intensely demands human attention. Just as proper nourishment is vital for the health and sustenance of the physical body, the inward presence also possesses its own unique spiritual nourishment—through which it experiences profound tranquility, becomes healthy and robust, and derives metaphysical strength. Allah Ta'ala explicitly states in the Holy Quran: أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ (Surah Ar-Ra'd, 13:28) Translation: "Behold, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction and tranquility."
This establishes that the remembrance (Zikr) of the Name of Allah is what brings solace to the human heart and soul, serving as its primary sustenance and source of power. The individual who turns away from this remembrance deprives 
The Sovereign of Mystics, Sultan-ul-Arifeen Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Bahoo (رَحْمَۃُ اللہِ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ), has explicitly unveiled and expounded the secrets and mysteries of the science of contemplating the Personal Name of Allah (Tasawwur Ism-e-Allah Zaat) throughout his literary works. In various places across his books, he has also designated this contemplation by the names of Ilm-e-Iksir (the Science of Elixir) and Tasawwur-e-Taufiq (the Contemplation of Divine Assistance).
The contemplation of Ism-e-Allah Zaat is the foundational mine and treasury of all esoteric and inward sciences (Batini Uloom). Through this practice, two of the most exalted spiritual stations are achieved within the inner self: the Vision of the Divine Essence (Deedar-e-Haq Ta'ala) and eternal presence in the Sacred Assembly of the Holy Prophet ﷺ (Majlis-e-Muhammadi). These supreme 
Reciting Durood-o-Salam (blessings and salutations) is an act so uniquely beloved and divinely accepted that through it, sins are forgiven, healing (Shifa) is acquired, and the heart and soul attain ultimate purification. The grandest blessing and honor for the reciter is that the Holy Prophet ﷺ explicitly acknowledges and returns the salutation In-Person (Banafs-e-Nafees).
Beyond this, Salat-o-Salam is an act that is never subject to rejection under any circumstance or at any stage; rather, it is a deed that is guaranteed absolute acceptance in the Court of Allah Ta'ala. If a righteous person recites it, their spiritual stations are elevated, and if a sinner or transgressor (Fasiq-o-Fajir) recites it, not only are their sins wiped away, but their presented Durood-o-Salam is also granted divine acceptance.
The Fundamental Purpose of Recitation
While reciting Durood Shareef in compliance 
It fulfills and executes the absolute Command of Allah Kareem.
Upon reciting Durood Shareef once, ten special divine mercies are descended upon the individual.
It elevates the reciter by ten spiritual ranks.
Ten rewards and good deeds are recorded in the reciter's account.
Ten sins of the individual are completely erased.
Reciting Durood Shareef before a supplication (Dua) ensures its swift divine acceptance.
It becomes the ultimate source of gaining the intercession (Shafa'at) of the Prophet of Mercy ﷺ.
It serves as a powerful means for the total forgiveness and expiation of sins.
Through the medium of Durood Shareef, Allah Pak dispels and removes the griefs and anxieties of His servant.
By virtue of this recitation, the servant will attain supreme proximity to the Noble Messenger ﷺ on the Day of Resurrection.
For 
إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۚ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا (Surah Al-Ahzab, 33:56) Translation: "Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessings upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace in abundance."
This blessed verse is an explicit, divine encomium (Naat) of the Master of all Messengers, Sayyid-ul-Mursaleen ﷺ. It reveals that Allah Ta'ala continuously sends His special mercy (Rahmah) upon His Beloved ﷺ, and His angels constantly supplicate for blessings and mercy in his honor. Therefore, O Muslims! You too must send Durood-o-Salam (blessings and salutations) upon him, invoking divine mercy and peace upon his exalted station.
Prophetic 
وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْاٰنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءٌ وَّرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ (Surah Al-Isra, 17:82) Translation: "And We send down of the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy for the believers."
The Quran is an absolute cure (Shifa), as it completely eradicates both outward and inward diseases, misguidance, and ignorance, while bestowing comprehensive physical and spiritual health. False beliefs and despicable traits are repelled through it, whereas true doctrines, divine gnosis (Ma'arif-e-Ilahiyya), praiseworthy attributes (Sifat-e-Hameeda), and excellent morals are attained. This is because this Majestic Book comprises such profound sciences and definitive proofs that completely annihilate illusion-based notions and satanic darkness with its divine lights.
