The esoteric, inward human being existing within the material frame is a living, breathing entity that intensely demands human attention. Just as proper nourishment is vital for the health and sustenance of the physical body, the inward presence also possesses its own unique spiritual nourishment—through which it experiences profound tranquility, becomes healthy and robust, and derives metaphysical strength. Allah Ta’ala explicitly states in the Holy Quran: أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ (Surah Ar-Ra’d, 13:28) Translation: “Behold, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction and tranquility.”
This establishes that the remembrance (Zikr) of the Name of Allah is what brings solace to the human heart and soul, serving as its primary sustenance and source of power. The individual who turns away from this remembrance deprives their soul of the essential nourishment and provision necessary for its life and strength, as Allah Ta’ala warns: وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَنْ ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنْكًا وَنَحْشُرُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَعْمَىٰ (Surah Taha, 20:124) Translation: “And whoever turns away from My remembrance – indeed, he will have a depressed (inward) life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind.”
The Grandeur and Efficacy of the Name “Allah”
Allah Ta’ala has specifically bestowed upon mankind the invocation of His Personal Name, ALLAH, because it completely encompasses all of His Divine Attributes, making it the most phenomenally powerful Name among all His Names. This Name possesses such unmatched cosmic weight that if the Ism-e-Zat Allah were placed on one scale of a balance, and the entire universe, along with Paradise and Hell, were placed on the other, the scale containing the Ism-e-Zat Allah would heavily outweigh them all.
Through the Zikr of Ism-e-Allah Zaat, the soul acquires that precise light of spiritual insight (Noor-e-Basirat) which is an absolute pre-requisite for witnessing the Divine Presence. The soul becomes so profoundly fortified that it can shatter all physical and metaphysical veils (Hijabat), achieving ultimate union (Wisal), vision (Deedar), and gnosis (Ma’rifat) of Allah prior to physical death.
Because the Zikr of “Allah” is the very foundation for achieving the ultimate human purpose of life—Divine Gnosis—the very first revelation and initial command bestowed by Allah Ta’ala upon the Holy Prophet ﷺ was precisely the remembrance of His Personal Name: اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ (Surah Al-Alaq, 96:01) Translation: “Recite in the name of your Lord (the Ism-e-Zat Allah) Who created.”
The Historical Foundation of Inward Worship
Long before the obligation of physical acts of worship, Allah Ta’ala commanded the Ummah and followers of the Holy Prophet ﷺ to engage in the Zikr of Ism-e-Allah Zaat. This was ordained so that their souls could first acquire the Noor-e-Basirat needed to access Divine Gnosis, which stands as the true soul and foundation of all worship. Only after this fundamental root of faith was deeply solidified were the formal, outward acts of worship made obligatory upon them.
Surah Al-Muzzammil, Surah Al-A’la, Surah Al-Waqi’ah, Surah Al-A’raf, Surah Al-Kahf, and Surah Taha were all revealed in Makkah prior to the formal obligation of ritual worship; notably, every single one of them contains explicit commands regarding the Zikr of Allah’s Name and details its exact methodologies: فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ (Surah Al-Haqqah: 52, Surah Al-Waqi’ah: 74 & 96) Translation: “So glorify the name of your Lord, the Most Great.”
(Surah Al-A’la, 87:01) Translation: “Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High.”
(Surah Al-Muzzammil, 73:08) Translation: “And remember the name of your Lord and devote yourself to Him with an exclusive devotion.”
The Specific Mathematical Oration Modes (Waza’if)
The Ism-e-Zaat possesses various distinct spiritual litanies (Oraad) and invocations, each tied to precisely calculated formulaic structures:
-
The 66 Recitations Mode: If a person consistently recites the Ism-e-Zaat Allah 66 times (its absolute Abjad value) immediately following every obligatory prayer without fail, they will be immensely enriched with eternal blessings and the fulfillment of objectives across both worlds.
-
The 1,000 Recitations Mode: Reciting this blessed Name 1,000 times daily infuses the reciter’s heart with an unshakeable, profound power of absolute certainty (Yaqeen).
-
The 100 Recitations Mode: Whosoever recites it 100 times after every prayer experiences an expansive opening of their inner self (Batin), leading directly to the unveiling of spiritual visions (Kashf).
-
The 1,100 Recitations Mode: If this sanctified Name is invoked 1,100 times daily with the explicit spiritual intention (Niyyat) of achieving financial abundance and prosperity, the inner desires and material goals of the reciter are completely realized.
-
The Grand Cumulative Total (Grand Wird): For those seeking to complete the ultimate structural accumulation of this invocation, the absolute grand count is set at 125,000 recitations.
A Historical Note of the Masters: Certain illustrious spiritual masters (Mashaikh) of the Chishti Sabri Sufi Order practiced this specific Wazifa 24,000 times daily—effectively ensuring that not a single breath or moment of their lives was devoid of this invocation. However, if any seeker or person in severe need wishes to adopt its strict, continuous practice (Mudawamat), they may directly contact us to seek specialized spiritual authorization (Ijazah).
-
The Resolution of Adversities: Persistently engaging in the abundant recitation of this blessed Name ensures that one’s deepest inner wishes are granted and severely complicated, broken matters are miraculously resolved.
-
The Sacred Friday Window: Whosoever sit in absolute seclusion on Friday, reciting it 200 times either during the window between the Asr and Maghrib prayers or prior to the Jumu’ah prayer, will find their severe tribulations made easy and their hearts’ desires fulfilled.
-
The Therapeutic Healing Mode: If a chronic patient fails to recover and medical doctors or physicians (Hakeems) find themselves entirely helpless, reciting this Ism and blowing (Damm) upon the patient will restore them to complete health—provided that the divinely decreed moment of their death has not arrived.
The Protocols of Utilizing a Naqsh
The illustrious scholars and spiritual elders (Akabireen) have explicitly outlined the precise methodologies for employing the specialized charts (Nuqoosh) of the Asma-ul-Husna.
However, prior to utilizing any Naqsh, the absolute requirement of spiritual etiquette (Adab) dictates that a person should present some form of spiritual offering (Hadya/Sadqah) and formally seek expert authorization (Ijazah) for its use. It is highly recommended and far more effective to have a Naqsh custom-tailored and specifically calculated according to the numerical values of your personal name and underlying objectives. Adhering to this protocol ensures that the flow of spiritual graces and blessings (Fuyooz-o-Barakat) remains continuously active, while completely safeguarding the practitioner from any severe spiritual backlash or metaphysical reversals (Raj’at).
